Hope of the Pokomchí

Hope of the Pokomchí and ASOSAP
Hope of the Pokomchí is the English name for Asociacion Sakombal Pokon (ASOSAP), a registered non-profit in Guatemala established in 2004. The name in the Pokomchí language means “Light of the Pokomchí”.

ASOSAP is run by Pokomchí with International Coordinators in the role of facilitators and consultants. ASOSAP is a ministry of  The Great Commission Foundation (GCF), a registered charity in Canada and, in the USA, Friends of  The Great Commission (FGC), a registered, 501(c)(3) non-profit. They receive donations on ASOSAP’s behalf, send the donations to Guatemala, and ensure compliance with Canadian and American tax regulations.
