We are happy to share with you the excitement of seeing the Pokomchi women discover more of the potential that God has given them, to become even more productive women.

Despite the remoteness of the communities where they live, they leave their homes very early to arrive at the Shekinah Center. At the center they are being taught sewing, through the “Sewing Workshop” project. During each session, they demonstrate their interest and perseverance in learning new skills and strategies, in order to be exemplary entrepreneurial women, who contribute to the development of their communities and families.

We are grateful to God and to the people who are part of the project. Through this project, women are provided with the tools needed to confront a life full of challenges and succeed.
